Breakdown of Services:

Emergency Medical Communication Center
MRO has developed a highly technological communications center. As the nerve center of our service, the center answers more than 12,000 calls a year for service. These services range from 911, Critical Care, ALS or BLS inter-facility transfers. Our communications staff is composed of highly trained EMD certified dispatchers. These dispatchers not only handle the request for service, but decide with help of our GPS program, which ambulance to send on the call.

Dispatchers are taught to use Global Positioning Satellites (GPS) and Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) technology to send the closest, most appropriate ambulance depending on call type. The system allows dispatchers to give pre arrival instructions using the latest EMD protocols. All dispatchers are trained in dealing with the special needs and time constraints of hospital social workers and nurses in arranging transports for their patients. Our dispatchers are instilled with the same values as our field personnel, which is prompt, courteous, and knowledgeable service for all our customers, regardless of how routine or emergent the situation is.

Nursing Care Facilities
MRO can provide a wide selection of services for the nursing care community. Nursing care facilities can utilize our BLS ( Basic Life Support ) ambulances for a wide variety of calls for their in house patients. Our BLS ambulance crews are available to transport patients to and from doctor’s offices, to and from emergency rooms for basic level emergencies, cancer treatments, dialysis appointments, to or from residences and so forth.
